Maasai Mara National Reserve
It’s a huge expanse of open savanna grassland dotted with flat-top Acacia trees. Masai Mara is frequented by thousands of wildebeests and Zebras every July through to October during the famous wildebeest migration which takes place between Masai mara and its bigger sister Serengeti of Tanzania.
Its also home to all Africa’s Big Five ( Lion, Leopard, Buffalos, Rhino and Elephants). Other animals found in plent here are giraffes, impalas, elands etc.
Its also home to over 350 species of birds.
Lake Nakuru National Park
This is the fourth most famous park in Kenya after Masai Mara, Amboseli NP & Nairobi NP. Its home to endangered species of both white and black Rhinos. Its also frequented by hundreds of Flamingos which makes it famous. Other animals to watch out for are lions, leopards buffalos, baboons etc.
