About 3 Days Tanzania Safari – Lake Manyara, Ngorongoro & Tarangire National Park
Lake Manyara National Park is one of Tanzania’s smaller and most underrated parks. While it may lack the size and variety of other northern-circuit destinations (there’s pretty much one main north-south route through the park), its vegetation is diverse, ranging from savannah to marsh to evergreen forest (11 ecosystems in all) and it supports one of the highest biomass densities of large mammals in the world. The chance to see elephant families moving

through the forest or Lake Manyara’s famous population of tree-climbing lions (although sighting them is becoming increasingly rare) is alone reason enough to come.
The dramatic western escarpment of the Rift Valley forms the park’s western border. To the east is the alkaline Lake Manyara, which covers one-third of the park but shrinks considerably in the dry season. During the rains, the lake hosts millions of flamingos and other birdlife.
Where to stay.
we shall be at Endoro Lodge. This lodge is of the beaten track, down quite the rough dirt track, but we shall get there. The lodge is nestled in the hills of Karatu, surrounded by lush green beauty! The views from every angle were incredible.
Pick a superlative: amazing, incredible, breathtaking…they all apply to the stunning, ethereal blue-green vistas of the Ngorongoro Crater. But as wonderful as the views are from above, the real magic happens when you get down inside and drive among an unparalleled concentration of wildlife, including the highest density of both lions and

overall predators in Africa. One of the continent’s premier attractions, this renowned natural wonder is deservedly a Unesco World Heritage Site.
Where to stay in Ngorongoro.

We end our 3 Days Tanzania Safari with a visit to Tarangire National Park. Tarangire National Park covers an

undulating area of 2,600km2, between the plains of the Maasai Steppe to the south-east, and the lakes of the Great Rift Valley to the north and west. The northern part of Tarangire is dominated by the perennial Tarangire River, which flows through increasingly incised ravines until it leaves the north-western corner of the park to flow into Lake Burungi. In the south are a series of vast ‘swamps’ which dry into verdant plains during the dry season. In the dry season (July to October). It’s a place where elephants dot the plains like cattle, and where lion roars and zebra barks fill the night.
