Take this safari tour if you have a passion for adventure. It takes you first to Meru and Samburu – highly unspoiled destinations, Lake Baringo – home to flamingos and other water birds, Lake Nakuru for Rhinos, Rothchilds, and Giraffes, Masai Mara – the best wildlife viewing haven in Africa, and Lake Naivasha and Hellsgate National Park.

Day 1
Nairobi - Meru
  • Pickup from Nairobi hotel or Airport and drive past central highlands and slopes of Mt Kenya and into Meru.

  • Arrive at our camp just in time for lunch.

  • Check in, have lunch and relax till its late afternoon time to end out for our first game drive here.

  • Be on the lookout for herds of elephants, lions, zebras, cheetah and many more animals found on this park.

  • Return for dinner and overnight at the camp.

Day 2
Meru Full Day
  • After breakfast, leave with picnic lunch for a full day exploration of Meru National Park.

  • Explore the park in morning game drives where you go up to mid-day, return to the camp for lunch, and return in the late afternoon when the weather is a bit cooler.

  • Utilize the time in between for enjoying the camp's facilities.

  • Return in the evening for dinner and overnight at the camp

Day 3
Meru - Samburu
  • After breakfast, depart by road to Samburu Game Reserve located on the banks of the Ewaso Nyiro River.

  • On the other side of the river is the Buffalo Springs National Reserve in Northern Kenya. Arrive in time for lunch at our camp or lodge.

  • Relax before heading out for your first game drive at Samburu National Reserve.

  • Dinner and overnight at our camp or lodge.

Day 4
Samburu Full Day
  • Explore the rugged terrains of Samburu in morning.

  • Visit Samburu villages to learn of the preserved Samburu people culture.

  • Head out for afternoon game drives or even full day game drives if you wish to.

  • Look out for creatures like the Nile crocodile, long necked gerenuk, Grevy's zebra, reticulated giraffe, and Beisa onyx and even the elusive Kenyan Leopard.

Day 5
Samburu - Lake Baringo
  • Depart in the early morning (with lunch en route) towards Lake Baringo.

  • Arrive at this freshwater lake in the late afternoon and depending on the conditions of the lake, enjoy an evening boat ride in search of hippo, crocodile, and numerous birds.

  • A bird watcher’s haven but beware, this is a malaria-prone land so it is best to come prepared with plenty of mosquito repellent.

  • We spend the night at a camp or lodge.

Day 6
Lake Baringo - Lake Nakuru
  • A 30 km drive south to the spectacular Lake Bogoria with hot springs and flamingos being the main attractions as well as great scenery.

  • Have lunch and then proceed for an afternoon game drive at the Lake Nakuru National Park which is a small but equally rewarding park which is home to the black and white rhinos, flamingos, baboons, antelopes, the elusive leopard, and numerous bird species.

  • Enter Lake Nakuru and proceed to our camp or lodge with game viewing en route.

  • Dinner and overnight at the camp or lodge.

Day 7
Lake Nakuru - Masai Mara
  • Have breakfast and then depart towards Mai Mahiu and Narok town with lunch en route before arriving at Masai Mara game reserve.

  • Arrive at the camp or lodge freshen and head out for a late afternoon game drive in the Masai Mara.

  • Return in the evening for dinner and overnight stay at our camp or lodge.

Day 8
Mara Full Day
  • The day is spent exploring the Mara magic through early morning and late afternoon game drives. Option to visit Masai village or local school or take an optional  Baloon Safari.

  • Alternatively, spend the entire day on a game drive (with packed lunches) returning to the campsite in the early evening hours. (Recommended during July/ August during the annual wildebeest migration).

  • Wherever you go in the Mara you will see a frequent amount of wildlife such as Masai giraffe, baboons, warthogs, bat eared foxes, grey jackals, spotted hyena, topis, impala, hartebeests, wildebeest. Elephants, buffaloes, zebras, and hippos also exist in great numbers.

Day 9
Mara - Naivasha
  • Early morning game drives in the Masai Mara

  • This is just a perfect opportunity to catch up with wildlife in their most active times i.e when its cooler.

  • Be ready for action as the big cats look for a catch or feeding on a freshly killed prey.

  • African sunsets from the Savannas of Masai Mara are also amazing.

  • Return to the camp or lodge for breakfast before leaving for Naivasha.

  • Arrive at your camp or lodge by the shores of Lake Naivasha freshen up and have lunch.

  • After lunch, you may choose to take a walk along the lake's shores or take a short boat ride tour into lake Naivasha accompanied by a guide.

  • Dinner and overnight at a camp or lodge.

Day 10
Naivasha o Nairobi
  • After breakfast, head out to the nearby Hellsgate National Park.

  • Hellsgate National Park is one of the most atmospheric parks in Kenya.

  • It gives its visitors a different experience of a safari altogether.

  • You will have a chance to cycle in the park amongst herds of zebras, warthogs, buffalos and other wild animals.

  • You may also explore through walking allowing you to get closer to the wildlife than in other parks

  • You may also choose to get involved in activities such as climbing rocks, hiking via the water gouged hells gorges and more.

  • Exit the park few minutes to noon and drive to Nairobi with a lunch en route.

  • Arrive on time and be dropped at your residence, hotel or Airport to catch your flight back home.
