Day 1Arrival
Upon arrival at Nairobi’s Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by a representative from Africa Vacation Safaris. After a brief orientation, you will be transferred to your hotel, arriving just in time for lunch. Following a short period of relaxation, you will head out to visit the nearby Giraffe Centre, where you’ll learn about Kenya’s endangered Rothschild giraffe, interact with them, and even have the opportunity to feed these gentle giants.
For those interested, an optional visit to the nearby Karen Blixen Museum can also be arranged before returning to the hotel. In the evening, enjoy a delightful dinner and settle in for an overnight stay at the lodge.

Day 2Nairobi - Amboseli
Your adventure begins as you depart Nairobi and journey to Amboseli National Park, a scenic drive that brings you to the stunning Ol Tukai Lodge, your home for the night. Upon arrival, settle in and enjoy the breathtaking views of Mount Kilimanjaro, Africa’s tallest peak, as it towers over the park’s plains. Later, head out for an exciting afternoon game drive, where you’ll encounter Amboseli’s famed large herds of elephants and other wildlife. Return to the lodge in the evening for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 3Amboseli Full Day
Spend the entire day exploring Amboseli National Park, known for its picturesque landscapes and abundant wildlife. Begin with a morning game after breakfast, drive as the park comes alive, offering excellent opportunities to spot elephants, lions, zebras, and a variety of bird species. After a leisurely lunch and some relaxation at the lodge, set out for another game drive in the late afternoon to capture more magical moments of wildlife against the backdrop of Mount Kilimanjaro. Conclude the day with dinner and another relaxing overnight stay at Ol Tukai Lodge.

Day 4 Amboseli - Naivasha
Travel to Lake Naivasha, passing through the breathtaking Great Rift Valley, and arrive in time for lunch at the serene Lake Naivasha Country Club. After lunch, unwind at the hotel or take a leisurely stroll around the lake. At 4 PM, set out for a unique adventure in Hell's Gate National Park. Here, you can choose to explore on foot or cycle through the park, encountering wildlife such as zebras, giraffes, buffalos, elands, and more in their natural habitat or do a normal game drive with the safari vehicle.

Day 5 Naivasha - Masai Mara
Begin the day with a hearty breakfast. You may choose to enjoy an optional boat ride or visit the Naivasha Sanctuary or Crescent Island before departing for the Masai Mara. The 5-hour journey will bring us to the iconic reserve just in time for lunch at Intrepids. In the afternoon, head out for your first thrilling game drive in the legendary Masai Mara from 4 to 6 PM. Return to the camp afterward for a delightful dinner and a restful overnight stay.

Day 6 Masai Mara Full Day
Spend an exhilarating full day exploring the Masai Mara National Reserve, renowned for its abundant wildlife and stunning landscapes. Begin early, venturing across the savannah in search of the Big Five; lions, elephants, rhinos, leopards, and buffalo along with cheetahs, giraffes, zebras, and countless other species. Witness the dramatic interaction of predators and prey, and if the season is right, marvel at the Great Migration as wildebeests and zebras traverse the plains ( July to Oct). Enjoy a picnic lunch amidst the wild, surrounded by breathtaking views, before continuing your game drive, capturing unforgettable moments of nature at its finest. We shall return to our camp later in the day for dinner and overnight.

Day 7 Masai Mara Full Day
Begin the day with breakfast before checking out and starting the journey back to Nairobi. Along the way, visit a Masai Village for an enriching cultural experience. Continue the drive to Nairobi, arriving at your hotel in the city center by late afternoon. Check in and take the rest of the day to unwind and relax.

Day 8 Nairobi activates - Transfer to the Airport
(We recommend travelers book return flights departing at 5 PM or later.) This allows time to visit the David Sheldrick Elephant Orphanage, explore Nairobi National Park for a chance to spot rhinos—species you might miss in the Mara—and enjoy some last-minute shopping. After the day’s activities, you will be transferred to the airport for your departure.
