Destination: Kieni Forest Hike /Gakoe Tea Estate
Kieni Forest is located approximately 2 hrs drive away from Nairobi in Gatundu constituency, Kiambu County. Its surrounded by endless landscapes of Gakoe Tea Estate that covers approximately 400 acres.

3 Magnificent Waterfalls .
Are you crazy about waterfalls? This is the best hike for you. The hiking trail leads you to 3 unexplored waterfalls all over 15 metres high. The first one is the best as it allows visitors to have photos from almost all angles.
The Second one is beautiful but with limited spots for photos

The third one is the tallest but you can only watch from a distance. Maybe when the water levels go down one can be able to get closer and take some nice photos.

Dress code for the hike
Being a forest terrain I would recommend that you wear warm clothes and hiking shoes. On a good day the weather is fantastic but remember this is part of Aberdare Forest and the weather can change anytime. The terrain can get wet at some points so some waterproof hiking boots are recommended.
