We explore the park in morning and afternoon game drives. Due to the temperatures here its is only advisable that we take the option of morning game from 6.30 AM to around 10.00 AM and when it gets hot the animals go deeper in the bush to hide. We return to the camp. Chill around or have an optional visit to a Samburu visit to learn the local community culture, wait for lunch and after lunch we can have another game drive later in the afternoon when temperatures drop. Samburu is home to huge herds of elephants, antelopes, many birds species and more. Be on the lookout for samburu special five i.e Reticulated Giraffe, Grevy Zebra, Gerenuk, Somali Ostrich and Beisa oryx. The big cats are also relatively easy to spot here compared to other parks and if lucky you may spot a pride of lions or a leopard on trees.
