Ol Donyo Sabuk – Kilimambogo is a mountain and an adjacent small town near Thika central Kenya.The town is located in Kyanzavi Division, Machakos County The peak, height 2,145 metres (7,037 ft) the area is adorned with lots of untamed beauty. Lord Macmillan was u first white man to settle here, and everything else that has happened since is largely attributed to him.
The mountain has an excellent and clear view of Nairobi and other lowland areas. Wildlife species that can be spotted here include buffalo, colobus monkeys, baboons, bushbuck, impala, duiker, and abundant birdlife.
The hike is a one-day dtrip out of Nairobi, only 65 km away. It is particularly attractive for hikers or families wanting some freedom and exercise, outside their vehicles. Join us for an adventure through the beautiful wooded area that will calm your nerves, lift your spirits, relieve stress and take away your worries for a while.
